Pro Bowl 2011 Coming in January 2011 in Hawaii

NFL fans are now focused on the final week of the National Football League (NFL) and after that we will witness the 2011 Pro Bowl at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The venue was announce by the NFL and they also confirmed that the 2011 Pro Bowl will be televised live on January 30, Sunday via FOX at 7:00pm Eastern. It seems that NFL had decided to follow the game schedule last year when they also made the Pro Bowl precede the Super Bowl. During the 2010 Pro Bowl which had been telecast live via ESPN an average of 12.3 million viewers watched the games. It was the second largest viewership following the 2000 Pro Bowl which sets the record at 13.2 million. This also attracted the largest Pro Bowl attendance in 50 years at 70,697 and was held at Sun Life Stadium in South Florida.

“Playing the Pro Bowl before the Super Bowl 2011 generated more excitement and interest in the event and also kicked off Super Bowl week in an innovative new way,” said FRANK SUPOVITZ, the NFL’s senior vice president of events. “We are pleased to return to the State of Hawaii, which has embraced the Pro Bowl for 30 years.”

The NFL Pro Bowl will be played in Hawaii once again next year as part of a two-year agreement between the NFL and the state of Hawaii. Ticket reservations for the pro Bowl 2011 is now available at various local and nationwide accredited ticket reservation agents. “We are advising NFL fans to reserve tickets before hand and avoid the rush since the 2010-2011 season had been one of the best NFL seasons so far,” said one accredited NFL ticketing agency.
